The Oxytocin Trial That Never Reported

Two small 2017 studies suggested intranasal oxytocin might reduce tinnitus distress. The confirmatory trial at NYU Langone enrolled 33 people, was terminated when the principal investigator left the institution, and reported no data at all. Nine years on there is still no replication — unproven, which is not the same as disproven.
